“There were signs that the peso decoupled from the rest of the world last week as an institutional investor, possibly a pension fund, sold dollars in the market,” Francisca Roa, an analyst at Netgociando.com, said in a telephone interview today. “Friday, we returned to moving in line with the global market.”
